About the Dead Rodeo

The Dead Rodeo started as most bands do with a collection of folks who wanted to have fun and play some music together. After a couple of informal jams, Brian McPherson, Donovon Carter, Rick Thomas and Michael Rudolph set off on a journey to find the end of that long white line and bring music we love to people who might enjoy it. Our take on music comes from our roots in Bluegrass, Classic Rock, Jazz, and the many artists who famously blended all three to create something unique, fun and pleasing to the ear. We’re constantly working on the sound and bring a passion for live music to any and every place that will have us out to play.
